1.30am. Just back after seeing "Fanaa". I was a victim of hype. Aamir Khan looked old, fat and tired. The movie was a waste of time and an endurance test of the worst kind. It was utter trash. A pain to go through. Emotions overwhelm me and words fail me. I shall leave the job of reviews to the more accomplished blogggers. "Fanaa" elevates all other crap to a totally different level.
There will be many who will like it, but this is my blog and my space and all this is IMHO. And I also eat the words of my earlier post.
Great-bong Arnab-da - I call on thee to do a review (update - done and linked below). I totally agree - Mithunda is a God. But I doubt even he would be able to save this movie. Ah..but, he wouldn't do it in the first place na !

Absolutely... a Mithunda flick would have been far more entertaining. What a waste of a first-day-first-show :(
I imagined it to be like those typical old-school movies, where the actor writes shayari, and the actress says 'hai rabba mei mar jawaa' and dances in the rain.
Ugh. I'm not watching it.
hehe, actually i had... the movie was crap, no doubt about it, but man I kept watching Kajol all along... never mind the movie... Only good thing is, kajol and Aamir tried hard to save the movie. certian crapy scenes were just carried off smoothly by the actors.. like aamir leching at the ladies.. if it were salman... hahaha

Sure mithunda's Gunda might have been entertaining but you've clearly not watched Jaani Dushman and Rudraksha... or maybe this is a totally different genre of crap. Unfortunately, I'll never find out now :p

Interesting to see what everyone liked/hated about the movie. Personally, I foudn the shayris to be very very annoying, but it seems like a lot of people actually liked that bit and hated the second half...whatever, good job.
I'm surprised to see that you have quoted from my blog in the list of those who hate this movie......but I DID like it! and that's what I wrote in the blog.......Please there is indeed lots of mushy stuff, but on the whole I liked the movie and have written in the blog smrti.net, why I did.
